Spring has sprung in Sylmar! UPDATES: The 6th annual Relay for Life of Sylmar is this weekend. May 19 and 20, at Olive Vista Middle School. Small Business Development Center workshops for May schedule flyer. The San Fernando Historical Society will will host a Memorial Day Observance at 11am Monday, May 28 at Pioneer Memorial Cemetery in Sylmar. All are invited. The Sylmar Farmers’ Market grand opening is June 9 at LA Mission College. Did you know that there is a strip mine project is planned for our beautiful foothills? The beautification project has been completed in the Sylmar Business Improvement District (BID), groundbreaking was May, 2011.
